What is length?

Length is how long something is from one end to the other. You can measure length using paper clips, cubes, or a ruler.

What is an attribute?

An attribute is a feature you can use to describe or sort an object.. Sort buttons by color, then by size. Each way of sorting uses an attribute.

Is this true? A shape is not a flat or solid form with specific attributes like sides, corners, and curves.

What is a vertex on a shape?

A vertex is the point or corner where two sides of a shape meet. A square has four vertices, one at each corner. More than one vertex = vertices.

What is a tally mark?

A tally mark is a line you draw to count one thing.. Four lines, then a slash across: that bundle is five.

Is this true? A graph is a picture of data so you can compare groups.

Yes. The taller bar means more. Read the number at the top of the bar.

Match each prompt to its fact.
