Approaches to Learning

Approaches to Learning is FELDS Domain II: curiosity, sticking with a short task, inventing a use for a material, and a simple plan. Grade 1 has no ATL crate. Do not recode this as computer science.

Language and Literacy

Oral language and emergent literacy. Cards stay in listening, vocabulary, print, letters, and syllable/onset-rime play. Kindergarten teaches phonemes and CVC. Grade 1 ELA1 teaches digraphs and decodable text.
