What is a line in art?

Grade 1 art cards care about line, shape, color, texture, pattern, foreground and background. The crayons, glue sticks, and blunt-tip scissors on the SCPS Grade 1 list are the media.

How this lesson runs
- Name the element you are practicing. One at a time.
- Make it with crayons, collage scraps, or clay.
- Hang work with empty wall around it. A wall that shouts all six elements at once is noise.
